Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10175),

Legal Overview: Cyber libel in the Philippines, covered under the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10175), includes the unlawful or prohibited acts of libel as defined in the Revised Penal Code, but committed through a computer system or any other similar means. The absence of a specific name in a post does not necessarily exempt it from being considered libelous.

Key Considerations:

Identifiability: Even if a post does not directly mention a name, if the individual being referred to can be reasonably identified by the context or circumstantial evidence, it could still be considered libelous.

Defamatory Content: The content must be defamatory, meaning it must harm the reputation of the individual, expose them to public contempt, or ridicule.

Malice: The element of malice must be present, meaning there was an intention to do harm or reckless disregard for the truth.

Practical Advice:

Careful Posting: Exercise caution when posting on social media, ensuring that your content is not defamatory, even if it is not directly naming someone.

Consult Legal Advice: If you are unsure about the content of your post or if you face a cyber libel accusation, seek legal counsel.

Evidence Preservation: If you believe you are a victim of cyber libel, preserve the evidence (e.g., screenshots of the post) and consider the context in which the post was made.

Legal Recourse:

Filing a Complaint: Victims of cyber libel can file a complaint with the Philippine National Police (PNP) Anti-Cybercrime Group or the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Cybercrime Division.

Seek Legal Representation: In cases of being accused or filing a complaint, it is advisable to have legal representation to navigate the complexities of cyber libel laws.

God’s Righteous Judgement

Romans 2:1-3

1 You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself because you who pass judgment do the same things. 2 We know God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. 3 So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment?

It is hilarious to know that some people are quick to pass judgment to others and when they are being criticized, they are quick to react and defend their actions.

Brothers and sisters do not fall into the same trap. Even if you see wrong to other people, be still and be slow in passing judgment. As strong people of God, we can rebuke our friends' committing mistakes because it is our duty as Christians. Open rebuke is better than secret love. But do it as nicely as you can with love and compassion not to judge them but to correct them because we care.

THE MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION

2 Corinthians 5:17-18 “Therefore, for anyone who is in Christ he is a new creation. The old has gone, the new has come. All these is from God who reconciled Himself to us through Jesus Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. “

From the word itself “new creation, “ I can't help but put a doubt in it. “Am I really a new creation? What makes me different from before? When my actions and speech are still the same as before, what makes me any different now?”

But when we allow God to move in our hearts, we can feel the difference little by little. We will notice that we speak less hatred than before, judge others less than before, and be more compassionate to others than before until we notice that we are gradually changed from our old nature person to a new one who is now pleasing to God and it is not from our own effort, but it is the works of God through us.

The Lord's Warning about the Upcoming Civil war

The Lord showed me again this vision that the water from the seas will rise and it will never stop until it reaches the point where people will about to drown. Then the beast comes out from the air and fights against each other. The drowning people placed their trust in the Eagle but he was old, tired, and wounded. The Nation will break into two pieces and the land will be delivered into the hands of the wicked.

They will turn the city into a jungle. Survival of the fittest and elimination of the weak will emerge. The spirit of death will be found all over the place and the entire land will be covered with blood. But the Lord said the end is not yet to come. But all of these are just the beginning of sorrows.

My Interpretations:
The Inflation rate will continue to grow and it will never stop until people could no longer bear it anymore. A political conflict will arise that will break the nation. Civil war, another people power will erupt and this time it will be more bloody and deadly.

THE HARDEST JOB

The final words of Paul to the young Timothy during his last hours in the cell before his execution.

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young but set an example for the believers”                    1 Tim. 4:12

Who has the most difficult job? A brain surgeon? A trapeze artist who risks his life in every leap? A nuclear engineer? Or perhaps an air traffic controller who determines the safety of thousands of passengers. A number of the profession must be nominated as the hardest job.. But if Apostle Paul is still alive today, to that question he would like to reply without a doubt, “A pastor’s job is the hardest.” In contrast to the professionals who specialize, pastors must call upon wide-ranging skills. In a given week a pastor may act as a psychologist, social worker, hospital chaplain, administrator, personnel supervisor, philosopher, marriage counselor, and communicator. Paul was aware of the vital nature of such a job. Churches had sprouted up whenever he visited, but whether they survived or failed depended largely on what kind of local leadership developed.

Bredren, love your pastors because they are the gift that given to us by the Lord. If they have done something wrong that hurts you, forgive them because like us, they are also ordinary people who commits mistake. So, drop that garbage and repent. Let us unite as a nation and be prepared for the real battle. Because the enemy is at hand.

Let go and Let God

1 Corinthians 15:58 " Therefore brothers and sisters stand firm, let nothing move you. Always give yourself fully to the service for the Lord because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."

To our beloved Pastors, continue with your hardships and dedication in doing your toil for the Lord. Do not be discouraged and do not be dismayed even if you see no result. Just continue to sow the seed as a diligent farmer and the Lord in heaven will let it grow.
Let it go for the struggles and let God do His work.
Happy weekend everyone and Gob Bless.

Basic Guide on how to Pray

" But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your father who is unseen. Then your father who seen what you have done in secret will reward you."  Mathew 6:6

Still, Jesus keeps on reminding us to be humble and avoid showing off to people like what hypocrites do.

Many people post their prayers on social media but in reality, they don't develop a discipline of a prayerful life. Jesus gave us a basic guide on how to pray. To go to our room, close the door, and pray in secret. A sincere conversation that only you and the father knew. For whatever you do in secret, the Lord will reward you.

But for those people who made their prayer in public to allow all the people to see, the Lord Jesus said, they have received their reward in full. (Matt. 6:5)

Remembering the Past

Old Pictures will fade away. But memories remain in the heart forever.

These Pictures were taken when I was in 3rd year of high school where I grabbed the crown for Miss BNSF 1995. My family doesn't know about this achievement. Not even my mother,

This act won Best Talent. A stage play called Miss Saigon was popularized by Ms. Lea Salonga. My friend  Zoilo acted as a soldier in Vietnam during World War 2 and the little boy at the back acted as our child. A day before the contest, my friend told me that he just thought I could not make it to the crown. I ask him "Why?" He said, "Because you are not that smart." Then I ask him again, " What if I will make it?" Then he replied, " I will shave my head. "

The next morning I saw him bald at the entrance gate and that was hilarious.

Let the Battle Begin

I was in a deep prayer when God Showed me this vision. I have seen a great battle in the spiritual realm. The Angels of the Lord were huge and tall holding trumpets, lyres, harps, and other musical instruments together with the people of God, the worshippers were set in the frontline of defense together with the pastors, ministers, apostles, evangelists, teachers, prayer intercessors, were gathered in the second line of defense. At the back of the line were fellow Christians holding the flags. Others have helmets, others don’t.

To the opposite sides were vast demons riding among Christians with a tag in his head namely: lust, divisions, confusion, hatred, jealousy, deceptions but the greatest of them all is pride. I can see in the eyes of these people that they were so tired and helpless. Then the Lord said, “Set the captives free, no more ceasefire. Let the battle begin!”

Missing someone

It broke my heart as a mother watching my 5-year-old daughter at her innocence dealing with grief upon the loss of loved ones. It was Maxi, our loyal dog who had stayed with us for 2 years now. who died due to wounds he sustained from a fight with another dog to compete for a woman dog in the house. He was brave enough that even with his small size, he was able to fight for his dominance but he failed. May the Lord comfort my little one.

BANISH YOUR DOUBTS AND DO YOUR BEST FOR JESUS

The members of the council were amazed when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, for they could see that they were ordinary men with no special training in the Scriptures. They also recognized them as men who had been with Jesus. (Acts 4:13)

Sometimes I have some doubts that God will use me since I don’t have proper training in preaching ministry or any theology courses. And aside from that, I have made many mistakes in the past. Does it matter to Him? Does God have the right choices in picking people to serve Him?

But He chose John and Peter ordinary men who are said to be uneducated according to the standard of this world. But those servants of God had exceeding wisdom compared to the teachers of law because they did not rely on their intellectual understanding, but they experienced Jesus firsthand and were living witnesses of His death and resurrection.

Same thing with us. Even though we don’t see Jesus rise from death we experience Him in our daily walks in our lives. And He is calling you too. All you have to do is banish your doubts. Just make yourself available and He is always there to mold us according to His purpose. “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified. Do not be discouraged. For the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)

Seek God while he is Near

Full Text: (Matthew 23: 1-39)

Matthew 23: 39 “For I tell you, you will never see me again until you say, blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.”

The word that God revealed to me this morning is about to expose the hypocrisy of religion. Many Christians today appear good from the outside. They demonstrate their good deeds to the people but everything they do is only done for man to see. All their efforts do not glorify the Lord for it is blinded with pride and deception.

The Lord has been calling us again to repent and lay down our pride. Worship Him with a sincere heart and call upon His name while He is near.

Casting a Stone of Love towards Your Enemies

If you cast a stone against your enemies, make sure you don't dwell in the glasshouse.

It was 7:00 PM, and our car was parked outside 7-11. I am all alone waiting inside the car while m
y husband is inside buying some stuff. Suddenly, I noticed a beggar looked suspicious because he stood near the garbage bin and looked around making sure that no one would notice him, and he began to open the bin and search for food.

I immediately grabbed my leftover food and gave it to him, and he accepted it with a genuine smile. I simply recall how humanity is doing these days. People having heated arguments about who is the true religion and casting stones of hatred against each other. Well, what is a true religion by the way?

The true religion according to the biblical scripture, James 1:27 is that “Pure and undefiled religion before the God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their tribulation; to keep oneself unstained from the world.”

So, the next time when we open our social media and find them in our newsfeed, We already know that listening to them is only a waste of time.

God's Wrath and Judgement (Psalms 108:1-8)

Every dawn I seek God's wisdom to ask for direction. And this is the word of God reveled to me this morning.

Psalms 108:1-8

Oh, God whom I praise, do not remain silent for wicked and deceitful men have opened their mouths against me. They spoke against me with a lying tongue. Words of hatred surround me. They attacked me without cause. In return for my friendship, they accuse me, But I am a man of prayer. They repay evil for good and hatred for my friendship. Appoint an evil man to oppose him. Let an accuser stand up at his right hand. Let him be found guilty and may his prayer condemn him. May his day be few and may another take his place of leadership.

My Prayer:

Oh God, open our hearts and minds to see the truth. For our vision is limited and our minds are covered with deceitful thoughts.

Have mercy to my enemies Lord God for they did not know what they were doing. Reserve your judgement for your wrath is great oh God.

And in the process, gives me more understanding so that I will never again rely on my own strength and wisdom. Let the Holy Spirit cover me against the spear of the enemies. Create in me an iron heart to sustain all the attacks of satan that may come my way. Let the devil be defeated and return to his dwelling for all the days of his life.

Amen….

The Lord’s overflowing Mercy by Granting us a Second chance every day.

“There is therefore now no more condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus “(Romans 8:1}

I talked with a friend a while ago. She warned me to be on guard not to commit mistakes even once because if you fail, your 1000 good deeds will be forgotten and the only thing they will be remembered is your one mistake.

Well, that’s how you will be judged in the perfect world. And perfect people will always be like that. They are quick to judge and fail to reflect on their own mistakes.  Well, it's not all about them, but it's all about us, followers of Christ. Sealed by the Holy Spirit. We take the banner of Christ in every place we go.

We know we have different struggles in life, in varied situations.  We knew we also committed many mistakes. Sometimes we feel guilty about coming back to the Lord. Will the Lord forgive me again?

The word I will share with you this morning is a word of assurance that no matter how big your mistake is, the door of the Lord is always open for you to come back to Him with full repentance like the prodigal son who humbled himself to his father.

The world may condemn us but never to the Lord. He said in His words “I will never leave you nor forsake you. “ (Hebrews 13:5)

Brothers and Sisters do not hesitate to come to Him and ask forgiveness with pure heart and sincere repentance and you will experience His overflowing mercy and forgiveness’ reminding us that every day is always a second chance for us.

Road to Damascus and its Meaning Revealed

Bible Reference: Acts 9: 1-19

The Story of Paul on the Road to Damascus was his conversion story from being persecutor of God's disciples to follower of Christ.

We often hear the story of Paul with his first encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus.  But we can hardly connect it now with our present situations because, for us, that experience is limited only to Paul. After all, he is persecuting Christians and Jesus' disciples.

But as you noticed while Paul traveled on the road to Damascus, he had experienced too much hatred in his heart and with only one motive in mind. To persecute his enemies and make them pay.

But Jesus intervened with Paul by standing in the middle of his way and immediately he lost his sight and direction putting him in a vulnerable state. “What will happen now? Will my enemies kill me with my helpless condition?

But there was an amazing turn of events because opposite to his expectations, his enemies became his comfort and helped him survive in that helpless situation where he suffered blindness for 3 days.

The real message behind the story of Paul on his way to Damascus is forgiveness and true repentance. It was not easy for the people of God to forgive Paul because of the loss of loved ones and all the persecutions that Paul inflicted on them. But the love of God transcends all understanding. And our thought is greater than our thought.

And to Paul, that was the turning point of his life when he uttered the words,”I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." Galatians 2:20
