Romans 2:1-3
1 You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on
someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning
yourself because you who pass judgment do the same things. 2 We know God’s
judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. 3 So when you, a
mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you
think you will escape God’s judgment?
It is hilarious to know that some people are quick to pass judgment
to others and when they are being criticized, they are quick to react and defend
their actions.
Brothers and sisters do not fall into the same trap. Even
if you see wrong to other people, be still and be slow in passing judgment. As strong
people of God, we can rebuke our friends' committing mistakes because it is our
duty as Christians. Open rebuke is better than secret love. But do it as nicely
as you can with love and compassion not to judge them but to correct them
because we care.
